- Do you have a favorite outdoor space on campus? If so, where and why?
- Do you use campus green space for relaxation (passive uses), or for athletic uses, ie. sports (active uses)?
- Do you think our campus could use more passive or active green space? If so, where and why?
The University of Colorado | Anschutz Medical Campus is currently working on the refinement of preliminary preferred plans for both site and campus-wide master plans. Check back often for updates and to provide feedback on design scenarios. All comments are welcome!

Research area should be redone.
ReplyDeleteI think that more wild grass and natural Colorado habitat should be implemented to reduce the amount of water used for green spaces, and it looks great while representing the identity of the campus to outsiders. The Research Quad is a perfect example of what I'm talking about, and is a beautiful area with nice modern art and good good crosswalks. A little trash cleanup, a few local dry climate plants and bushes, and anywhere will look good for very cheap. If the money is there, some of the very large surface parking lots can be changed to multi-level parking so that the surface spaces can be saved for open and natural space.
